Who we are

McTeamer (mcteamer.com) is a team-management tool that helps amateur sports managers coordinate availability and schedules with their players over WhatsApp.

Information we collect

Manager accounts: your name, email address, and Google profile image, obtained when you sign in with Google.
Player records: names, phone numbers, jersey numbers, positions, and optional emergency contacts that managers add to their rosters.
Messages: the WhatsApp availability replies and announcements exchanged through the service, retained to power the attendance dashboard.

How we use your information

We use this data solely to operate the service: sending availability check-ins and reminders over WhatsApp, recording responses, building calendar feeds, and delivering team announcements. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

WhatsApp messaging

Messages are delivered through the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Players can opt out at any time by asking their team manager to remove them, or by replying STOP. Standard carrier message rates may apply depending on the player's plan.

Data retention & deletion

Team and player data is retained while a manager keeps their team active. When a manager deletes a team or a player, the associated records — including availability and message history — are removed. To request deletion of your account data, email [email protected].
